Below table is the schedule of Bank Negara Malaysia Monetary Policy Committee Meetings for 2010, each quarter will have 2 meetings. The Monetary Policy Statement will to be released at 6:00 p.m. on the same day as the MPC meeting.

During this Monetary Policy Meeting, Bank Negara Malaysia will determine the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) and this will affect the Base Lending Rate (BLR). Hence by knowing the date of the meeting will help us to have a better understanding on when the OPR might change. This could help us when we are considering something that is related to the loan.
